About the track

Performed by: African Children’s Choir
Executive Producer: Ray Barnett
Produced and Arranged by: Tom Keene

The track is about the story of David and Goliath (Samuel 17).

David is the youngest son of Jesse from Bethlehem. He is a shepherd who has favor with God. Goliath is a very large soldier, chosen as a champion from the Philistine camp. Goliath was heavily clad in armor of bronze and had weapons including a javelin, spear and a large shield also made of bronze. David had only his staff, five small stones from the nearby stream and his sling. David took a stone and slung it and struck Goliath on the forehead. Goliath fell facedown on the ground. When the Philistines saw that their champion was dead they fled.
