Choir 42 are now a month into their tour of Australia and they’d like to share some highlights with you…
Here the Choir and our Director of Development, Scott Lambie, thank the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs for helping us build some classrooms in Africa.
As Choir 42 travel from Victoria to Queensland they will be touching the lives of many Australian school children who come to see them, complete workshops with them and sing alongside them. To highlight the importance of a quality education for all, Australian students will be marking our tour bus with a handprint as a sign of support.
Spending time with students at Inaburra School after an interactive workshop, before a concert. The Choir children love interacting with, and performing alongside, children from different cultures to their own – enriching the lives of other children along the way.
The children visited the Sydney Harbour and treated the tourists and media to a few songs in front of the iconic background of the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge.
You still have a chance to see Choir 42 in Australia throughout June – Find out where they will be performing in the coming weeks here.
