I’m writing this just the day before Sarah’s big run (see my previous blog) is due to take place in Uganda. Naturally, myself and all the team at the African Children’s Choir are thinking about her, praying that she will have the strength to complete all those miles, and we also congratulate her for having the vision and motivation to take on such a challenge in the first place.
To date, the sum raised stands at $16,435 which is already a fantastic achievement. The goal is $30,000 and we are standing with Sarah in faith that this will be reached. A lot of preparation has had to go into this, and Sarah’s husband Scott has come up with some lovely and atmospheric little videos filmed during training. These also show some of the children who will benefit. Please encourage and support Sarah by visiting her page at https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/30mi-30-yrs-30k The campaign will remain open until 5th October 2014, so there’s still time to help Sarah reach her target of $30,000.
Please make a contribution today and help spread the word about this campaign. Together, we can help educate tomorrow’s change makers!
